This Strider BG is an older one(it's the one in the middle), and according to Mick was made around 1999, so it has collector's value. BG42, I believe. New, never carried, but has a few very light kydex marks. $400 shipped.

Peter Atwood neck knife, with CPM 3V blade and cord wrap handle. Kydex sheath. New, never carried. $150 shipped.

Sorry, but I gotta keep that black Strider WP on top.

Aloha! What is the OAL of the neck knife? The next question is a newbie one. Does 3V mean stainless, titanium, or other metal? Sorry for the unknowlegableness (is that a word?).

Overall length of the Atwood is about 5.5", with a blade of 2.5". For comparison purposes, the blade on the big Strider is about 6". CPM3V is one of the best steels out there right now. Extremely tough and wear resistant, but not quite what you could call stainless. About like D2 in stain resistance. Price drop on the Strider BG to $375. Atwood necker now $140.

Super knives! I am thinking about the necker but not sure if I can afford it at this time. It is going to be a wonderful addition to someone's collection of customs. Thanks for the info. on the steel on the Atwood neck knife.

560 views later and STILL nobody wants the Strider? How about $305 shipped? That's less than new ones cost, and this one has a little collector's value.

Atwood necker $125 shipped.

what about a brand new, never even been out of the box microtech utx70($230) plus $150 CASH for the strider???

BTTT. Evidently, this buyer changed his mind. Strider still available.

For what its worth,I am fairly sure I recognize the Strider BG, and that was one of the first tiger striped knives ever done by the Strider guys. It is a great piece of Strider history.

Thanks, Nyeti. That's what Mick told me at the Blade show too. :)
