Buzz came closest to nailing it on first glance!!

LOL. I'm honored. It must be due to how close I am to the original manufacturer.

To clear up any confusion, Kingston, NY is the county seat of Ulster County, New York. I live about an hour drive from Kingston. I'm actually within driving distance of many of the old traditional knife company locations. Upstate New York was filled to the brim with knife manufacturers during the golden era of the slipjoint.

It pays to have a reporter on site!!:)
Thanks Buzz! I passed your correction along to Dennis!!

Buzz - it's simply because you know your stuff - thank you for your valued input my friend.
I enjoyed researching this knife and I am pleased I was on track with that work - all due to people like you Buzz , Charlie and then Dennis's confirmation.

Charlie thank you for the follow up with those photos- there's very little between those three - the Bone Jig work is exact as each other as well.
Amazing stuff here. Thank you to all involved.

This is great, I just found this exact knife hiding in a cupboard drawer in an antique shop in south hampton NY. Stellar find for $20, it’s like new:)

I spent quite a while trying to identify it, tough since it only has the made in USA tang stamp but with no success till I stumbled on this thread! I am excited to be able to pen a little history to go with the blade. It needs a little cleaning to be sure, but I am impressed with the overall condition considering the age, likely unused.
