Offering for sale a 100% authentic and now quite rare T.A.D. Gear/Triple Aught Design brand Life Capsule Alpha Elite with some accessories.
Included in this the sale:
The “Life Capsule Alpha Elite” itself, made from a single billet of solid aluminum with a matte finish. I believe this particular model came out in the early 2000s years. Each end of the capsule is removable via threading and seals tightly with an o-ring.
a “SAS” SURVIVAL BUTTON COMPASS PYSER SGI FB NATO Stock Number 6605 99 522 0223, ALSO KNOWN AS THE FRANCIS BARKER MODEL 1605 NATO SURVIVAL COMPASS
a TAD “Survival Spark”, which is an emergency firestarter
an unmarked/unknown brand fabric pouch that the Life Capsule fits nicely into and has two additional slip compartments and a loop at the top
also included inside of the capsule is a small sewing needle taped to the side of the Survival Spark, two larger sewing needles stored inside of a small piece of plastic tubing, one safety pin, some string floss wrapped around a small piece of plastic tubing, and some fire tinder (I believe Tinder-Quik, but am not certain) stuffed inside the end of each cap
This capsule measures approx. 4’’ long when fully assembled and .75’’ wide. Also pictured next to a standard US measuring tape (the measuring tape is not included in the sale of this listing) for your visual size reference, if so desired.
CONDITION: EXCELLENT PRE-OWNED CONDITION. NO MAJOR DAMAGE. THERE ARE SOME MARKS TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE CAPSULE. THREADING ON CAPSULE ENDS IS IN GOOD SHAPE AND FUNCTION AS THEY SHOULD, O-RINGS ARE INTACT.PRICE: $280 shipped, payment via PP F&F or a Check/MO. USA only please.
