Old Slipjoint Springs Too Soft

I've got a couple Old Timers with soft springs. One is a pretty good condition (full blades, minimal patina) 108OT with all the blade pulls pretty equally soft, and one is a 34OT where the main clip blade is soft but the other two are fine.

I can see where the older, more used 34OT might have worn down the tang on the most used blade, but the 108OT looks like it wasn't used much at all, no where near enough to wear down all three tangs that much.

Any ideas on what it could be or how to fix it?

The springs have to be removed, bent, and reinstalled. If they are soft they will have to be heat treated or replaced.
Sometimes- there is pocket gunk hiding in the backspring at the tang. Try using a bent piece of fine wire to drag it out. Then, clean and relube.
