Old style Hanuman and BirGorkha version. It is back for those who asked.

Getting the medallion affixed to either scabbard or frog and doing it properly is going to cost too much and nobody will be happy with the way it's done anyway so let's say for the time being that if anybody wants a medallion attached to scabbard or frog it is up to them to get the job done here. I'll supply the medallion and the frog and scabbard.

Ok Ok. So no attached medallion. I did like James's idea of a bear handle. Do you think that the kami's could handle that? If so, how about a 20" bear handled sirupati (1/4" thick) w/ a matching tooled bear scabbard? If that can't be done, what about a dragon sirupati with the same specs. I'm really excited about this knife (if you couldn't tell).

Deal. I was actually expecting more, no complaints though. Would it be proper to offer to pay another 25 or 50$ (as a bonus) if the kami and sarki that work on my knife do an excellent job and I get a sharp, artistic, functional blade? If I am out of line, I apologize, I just thought that it would be a nice way to thank the people that would be putting so much effort into a special knife for me.

I still like the bear idea though. I'm a big fan of bears. If a kami ever decides to make a bear khukri ... you'll have a buyer here (as long as its not a mega salyan

Pakcik Bill.

How far do you think the tang embedded into the Hanuman handle? --- I noticed a very small metal (slightly bigger than special character "period" in this posting) at the forehead of my Hanuman! --- I assumed it as the tip of the tang. Sorry ... I just don't have any intention of sending it to hospital for an X-Ray ...
