Welp, I haven't seen but one video on this particular knife. I've read a few mentions of people interested but no follow up. As I'm always on the hunt for a good stockman, I figured I'd leave an oddball post for any other interested persons.

The old timer 340TG is a USA made stockman. It's small to medium in my opinion. It is much lighter in the hand than I was expecting, but that's not bad. The blades came with an edge but not shaving sharp. Easy enough to touch up the 1095. The handle scales are surprisingly tight. No major gaps (some gappage is an expectation for me at this point). The back springs do have some gap to them but also nothing major. It's better than many I have seen. The main clip point blade has a half stop and a good strong snap open and closed. The sheepsfoot has a slight belly, a bit mushy on the opening swing, but snappy on the closing swing and stays open and shut just fine. The pen blade is solid open and closed like the main blade is. The pen blade does however rub against the liner and will rub against the sheepsfoot if you aren't extra careful opening it. Due to its design, blade rub does not bother me at all and is simply a part of its character and wearing in. All in all, I will be keeping this particular knife and am pretty pleased with it. Especially when compared to other USA made brands of the same pattern. For the $65 I paid, I'm content.

Good knives. Mine is the old version with high carbon steel, probably 1095. Excellent whittler. The newer ones I believe are made in China and use 7Cr17MoV steel.

I think most of their products are in fact china made now but these, and a few others, claim to be USA made. This particular one is stamped USA and 1095. Unfortunately I have no clue how to post pictures or I'd give a gander.
