I am not participating in this one. Just wanted to say that is very generous of you.

That's good training right there Vince! You have your dogs pull along your big stringer of fish! Genius! ;)

Thanks for the chance Vince, I haven't owned a Schrade yet  Anyhoo here's a picture of some neat jigging on an old Ulster I used to have. Someone else on the forum has got it now, and hopefully it winds up in a pocket every once in a while

I'll play. Besides, if I win, it will get me one knife closer to filling my Schrade case.

I'm going to go with Copper having it.

As for the knife content, here's a picture of my first Schrade 8OT

I was looking for a small sub 3" knife for city office use. Liked the case peanut for size, but did not like the half-stops on a knife that size. I posed my "quandry" in this forum a couple of months ago, and received a lot of great suggestions. A few people mentioned a small stockman. I consider the stockman to be the "classic" slipjoint and have had several medium/large for many years. Never realized that the small ones existed. Based on the suggestions, got a case small stockman and it's perfect! ... well it's stainless, so ALMOST perfect. Anyway if this is a carbon steel small stockman, would be an honor just to be considered.

It's a very cool thing you are doing, and so many others in this group do. Thanks for the chance. Good luck to all!

Peace.
Out.
Fred

I'll play, Vince. Here goes my trusty, awesome, bestest deer knife which I own thanks to you.
