old timer ID?

i'm new to the slipjoint section, i suppose. i like slipjoints quite a bit, and my edc usually consists of a pocket fixed blade and a slipjoint of some kind.
i came across an old timer a couple years ago at a flea market. it's a beast, 5.25"closed, 4.25" blades, 9.5" open. it's a "folding hunter" pattern, marked 25 OT. i don't think they're still made, but i haven't been able to learn much about it.
does anybody know when it was produced, or perhaps when it went out of production?

May I suggest you ask your question over in the Schrade forum (under Manufacturers). There are several very knowledgeable Schrade collectors, and Ms. Debbie Chase, former Schrade historian, has even been posting recently. Stop on over.
