How many of you guys have an Old Timer knife in your pocket? I am on my third 180T in 15 years. I seem to lose one every 5 years or so. The carbon steel blade holds an edge well and mine haven't rusted.
They seem to be a good user knife for $12 or so.

I've had a 8OT with me all day. I have five OT pocket knives and like them all. Good user knives, mine seem to hold up very well.

Well, I'll admit that I don't have my 8OT in my pocket right now but it's sitting on my dresser. OTs are great pockets knives and my 8OT has better fit than most of the newer Case knives that I have handled.

It's interesting though that my 8OT has a carbon steel sheepsfoot and stainless clip, spey and springs.

I have an oldie that I rescued from a junk shop that I cleaned and resharpened a couple of years ago. It is honstly one of my absolute favorites. 80t from the pre-imperial days. It makes me love slipjoints, it's got such a great feel.

I got my first OT in the 60´s, still have some (got a middleman for Christmas), sorry, today and my ususal EDC since 1976 is an Uncle Henry.

I'm carrying a recently purchased Case Sodbuster Jr. But before that I had a 104OT Minuteman. Had several others in the past too.

I bought a brand new looking Sharpfinger for $10.00 yesterday at a pawn shop. I know you were probably talking about slipjoints, but I like their fixed blades too. I also have a few OT slippies. My favorite is the Bearshead Trapper.

Have a Junior in my pocket right now. Have had the knife so long I don't know how old it is.

The 8OT is one of my favorite knives of all. I have several of them.

I got an 80T last year, and carry it quite a bit. It's a great user and at the price it can't be beat. Like most slippies I've bought, it wasn't very sharp but that carbon steel is a pleasure to sharpen up. I almost think they do that on purpose so you can bond with your knife!

Schrade 340T in my pocket right now. Several around the house somewhere too. Carbon steel never rusts on mine. Discolors yes. I like that tho. I have a few of the 80T's too. The 340T seems to come out of my pocket a lot. I carry the bigger 80T when I go out of the house. Sure hate to lose a good knife.

I replied to this thread a while back, mentioning how much I like my 8ot. Three or four weeks ago I bought a 34ot on a whim. It has been in my pocket ever since. Good fit and finish , opens smoothly, strong back springs but they are not nail breakers. I really like this pocket knife.

I've been carrying a 34ot for an EDC acouple of weeks now, my very first 8OT is in the mail, I can't wait. (I should say mt first new 8OT, I rescued a decrepid one from a junk shop and fixed it up some)

The 34ot seems to be popular with alot of us. Another favorite of mine is the 94ot gunstock trapper. It is discontinued now but their are still a bunch around.
ONE of my favorite fixed-blade hunting knife is my Schrade 165 Also discontinued.

I have a Sharpfinger 150 carbon fixed blade that I have had for some years. It's definitely a worker. Unlike my good knives, here are no worries about damaging it, so I get full use out of it, then some. I just got an Stockman 80T that I am trying out. It's the first time, i have got a pocket knife that is not one handed. It looks like it's got a lot of potential.

After my father-in-law died a few years ago, I asked my mother-in-law if I could have one of his knives as a keepsake. She said sure. I wasn't particularly into knives at the time, though I've always had them and carried a SAK Classic as an EDC, so I just reached in the desk drawer where he kept his personal folders and took one. It turned out to be an Uncle Henry 834 UH, which they call a rancher. It's basically a mid-size stockman. When I wear jeans, it's in the little pocket inside the right front pocket.

Well for fun I went out and bought a brand new Old Timer 340t and added it to my old Buck303v red cadet.
The Old Timer seemed pretty decent right out the box, I did look over three before choosing though.
I am starting to get into the old school slip joints......well just because they're cool!
I have had that old Buck for years and don't even remember when I got it but it has served me well!
