Lots more info on the Schrade forum as well. For a true SAK-esque Schrade check out the Officer's model or the Century line of knives.

There were also some Imperial scout pattern knives.

The brown knife on the right was mine in Boy Scouts, an Imperial made in Rhode Island in the early 1980s. The other two are Ireland-made Imperial knives that I picked up on closeout in '04 for about $1.99 each.

How hard is it to find one of those 97OT Old Timers? I see plenty of the chinese made versions but no US made ones so far.

They come up from time to time. I got both of these for very reasonable sums.

Just checked a certain site and they have three USA models right now. Gonna cost, though. A search of recently sold items shows much more reasonable prices on a couple of USA models.

Not as hard as the 106OT, the scissors model.
