"Old Timey" Clip Point (pic heavy)

For your consideration this is an offset handle Clip point hunter inspired by the knives my uncles made for our hunting group. The blade was roughed out many times and a layer of forced patina was added each session. This resulted in a very rough aged appearance giving the knife a very antique feel to it. The blade construction is designed for caping and general animal breakdown, can be used as a light chopper as well. There was some deformation from the front pin on the scales(shown below). Stabilized Bocote (Greenberg Woods) Handle hand sanded to 220grit for texture, shaped to a modified sheepsfoot design for lanyard hole
3/32" Brass pin hardware
Strop polished edge on heavy "Weathered" forced patina
8 31/32" OAL
4 7/8" Handle to tip
4 1/4" cutting edge
3/16" Lanyard hole
