Hi there from New Zealand.
First I will apologise for my lack of knowledge on Tomohawks etc-which leads me to these questions, and I hope it doesnt sound too silly for the experts here..

I love looking at the Tomohawks in here- and was wondering do you have any GOOD old photos of genuiune Tomohawks used by the Native American Indian? (I hope that is an accepted terminollogy of those guys )
and if you do, could I be able to see them?

The tomohawks on here-( because we learn as we advance in time )-are your custom ones now better balanced than the original ones-if so a lot more accurate and effective?? do we really know that answer? - were the users ( original ) truely appreciated and given the chance to really teach us, or is it the usual story in every place and time-only realy appreciated once gone?
I hope these questions make sense, and truely hope I dont accidently offend anyone with my wording.
Thanks very much,
Duncan.

Sorry for the spelling mistake.
Thank you for the photos-they are great-but how do these days Tomahawks compare tro the early?..I hope that isnt a silly question?

My guess is that the 'hawks of today are superior to the old by way of the steel's quality as well as the heat treating, provided of course the 'hawk is from a reputable maker or manufacturer. And some of the designs are equal to or better than the old.

Unless I'm mistaken early metal hawks were Iron or Brass and modern ones are heat treated steel so I imagine they are tougher now a say. Then there's the modern tactical hawks like ATC makes which are virtually indestructible.
