OK! I am just going to say it! I want Buck to make a 2012 LE Kalinga (Old Style) with the black micarta handle slabs like the original had. What say you Buck?

Collectors of Buck fixed blades often refer to these knives as a 1 line, 2 line or 3 line. Meaning it has a one line stamp, ie. 'Buck' only, or a two line as 'Buck USA' only or three line stamp as, Buck 402 USA. As these stamps date the knife. DM

Thanks for explaining David. Btw did you ever hear of a damascus Kalinga with stag handles made by the Buck custom shop?

The Kalinga was a popular model in Buck's Custom Shop. I've seen many Kalinga's from the Custom Shop but don't remember a damascus. DM

A fine looking knife. In Haebbie's photo above notice the finger guard is pointed. This helps to date the model as well. DM
