For anyone interested in taking the slipjoint class, the project will be a 3-blade sowbelly. The blades are a bit smaller and more fun to grind and fitting them up should keep everyone interested.
I did a quick shot of the 3-blade sowbelly pattern John's talking about. It's my current EDC and I neglected to clean it before shooting it. It's a terrific knife - thinner and lighter than you'd think, unlike others you may have known. And John has his ways of making it all come out right. Should be a great class.
I was just informed by Regina at Texarkana College that it looks like the class won't make enrollment. She said that the May intro class will be the first one to make for the year.
I will be talking about fancy folders at the spring hammer-in at Old Washington May 1-2. I look forward to seeing ya'll.
