Eye Brand sodbuster. Enjoy your gifts!

Another fine choice Todd, your taste can't faulted:thumbup:

At first glance, I thought it was Damascus:eek: That 'confusing' patina and eye etches:D

A CASE Pen in yellow is an excellent pocket friend, rather overlooked in my view as you get a very good slim knife with a useful sized Clip blade, beats a Peanut any day:D The OP getting one from his tiny tot is especially important too.

Thanks, I feel the same way. It's my first pen knife, and as you said, it's a pattern that I never paid much attention to. It really is perfect in size and blade selection for my needs. I had just gotten the peanut bug a few months ago, and was loving my chestnut bone one (and still do), but I do find that the pen knife is just larger enough than the peanut to make it much more comfortable to use, but not so much larger that is is any less comfortable in my pocket.

I love all of the pics guys. That yellow bone peanut sure is nice looking. :D

Don't think I saw it mentioned before but
if it's a yellow pen I assume it's the 32087pen.
I carried a 1978 22087 for 30 years and I agree it does make a great edc
and the 3.25" vs peanut's 2 7/8" is a major plus.
I have heard the 087 called the medium peanut on occasion.
I have seen a few bone 087pens but the yellow is definitely under appreciated. (imho)

I believe I may have shown this before, if not then why not....... Sold only by SMKWs........300Bucks/ch

Yes Wosey, it's a 32087. Not sure if I mentioned this or not, but it's also my first yellow plastic handled knife. I always thought they looked cheap in stock pictures, but in person they do have a certain minimalistic charm to them. And from the looks or some of the pics posted, they seem to hold up quite well.

Well 300.... looks like you have your bases covered in the yellar department. Did you get them as a set?

I have the Case Trapper in my pocket. We took my GF's Son to lunch yesterday and the restaurant did not have any knives. It was a new Mongolian place and the food was good , glad I had my Trapper to cut up my lunch.

The Case trapper went to an old high school bud on his 50th about 3 yrs ago. The peanut was either traded or gifted some time back. I added another Camillus congress yella handle, but it's not a Yello-Jaket.

Congrats of a special knife. It's the associations that elevate a knife from cool, to really special.

heres mine from a few years back... the medium stockman and the soddie are carried often the trapper well not so much so, i just really cant get into trappers

Neat thread and photos!
I like the yellow traditionals' too....I've put these up before once....
A couple 3347's, a Case fish from 65-69, Schrade Hopa'Long Cassidy tribute to the cowboys knife (really ivory looking), a small Kabar birds'eye stockman and a Case 3254 trapper.
