The Chokwe and the Pattada—
Chokwe $OLD
two of the best ever knives from the Spyderco Ethnic Series—an ongoing project that recognizes and pays tribute to the world’s distinctive cultural cutting tools by expressing them in modern form.
$95 BUCKS US FOR A PATTADA??!! ITS THE DEAL OF THE CENTURY. ITS ONE HELL OF A KNIFE EVEN AT THE $246 CAD I paid!!!
The iconic Pattada blade shape, characterized by a straight clip point and long curved cutting edge, is faithfully executed in premium N690Co stainless steel. Its full-flat grind and PlainEdge™ cutting edge ensure superior edge geometry and low-friction cutting performance.
The Chokwe is patterned off a historic fixed-blade, keeping true to the triangular shaped blade and coffin-shaped handle. The blade is CPM S30V blade steel and flat-ground for cutting performance. The handle is black G-10 with bored out handle holes reducing overall weight and making through holes for attachment to a longer handle or pole. Full length internal liner reinforces the locking device, a Chris Reeve style integral lock. Comes with a titanium aftermarket clip. I don’t have the original.
Both these knives are lightly carried and lightly used with absolutely no serious scrapes bumps or problems. They have not been dismantled or messed with in any way. I love them both and have enjoyed our time together but alas I am moving to smaller pocket knives. Priced to sell, shipped tracked to your door PayPal. Tons of sales on Bladeforums. All happy customers. Please don’t post unless you want a knife. These are fabulous knives at a great price.
Pattada is $170.00 US new plus shipping on BladeHQ- A steal at $110.00 DOWN TO $95.00 US shipped to your door.
