Hello everyone and greetings from the North Georgia Mountains. My name is Lee Tigner, and my wife Melissa and I have decided to exit the real world and pursue our interest as a family business. This week we have launched the e-commerce phase of Olde Towne Cutlery; a comprehensive knife company that represents custom makers, production companies, mid-tech producers, vintage product, European imports, knife making materials, collectibles, accessories and much much more. We are honored to be a part of the knife community and than you for reading our announcement.
Knife brands include Winkler Knives II, Hogue, Curtiss Knives, Fiddleback Forge, Lion Steel, Queen Cutlery, Boker, W.R. Case and Sons, Spyderco, W.A. Surls Knives, Tindall Knives, T.M. Hunt Custom Knives, CRKT, Southern Grind, Great Eastern, Zero Tolerance, White River Knife and Tool, Spartan Blades, and many more. Olde Towne Cutlery also carries a full complement of shaving supplies from Boker, kitchen cutlery from Shun, Boker, and W.R. Case, and sharpening equipment from DMT, KME, and Work Sharp. A huge line of exotic handle making materials is in stock and cut to size along with mosaic pins, rod, liner material and more. For the collectors, we have researched historical images and vintage advertising and reproduced them for a line of amazing and unique Tin Signs. Also, collectors will especially enjoy the vintage knife department, whereby a substantial selection of high-quality collectible knives are available.
The next phase of the business plan will be the opening of our “Brick and Mortar” store. This will enable us to establish some additional lines that have that as a requirement, but also to welcome our customers to a fascinating, educational, fun, and entertaining venue where we will continually offer value added services. We anticipate this next phase to take place in the first half of 2018. Until then, the inventory selection will continue to expand, the number of brands will grow, and the t-shirts may get even funnie r. But the most exciting “coming-soon” is a special factory order of traditional pocket knives that will be our “in-house” brand called, Due South Knives. This should be a tremendous hit with slip joint enthusiasts as there are some distinct things never done before which should make them highly sought after as collector pieces.

- The first being that customer service and attention to detail must adhere to the highest ethical standards. Twenty years in the business world has taught us that this is a principal which cannot be compromised.
- Second, financial integrity with our suppliers is a must and will not be compromised.
- Third, we cannot simply divide the pie with other suppliers. It is our firm commitment to the industry that we must lift the business by creating more knife enthusiasts like us; which in turn will help all the independent dealers grow and the overall health of the business climate improved. We have discovered that this is a very welcoming industry and we respect and appreciate that to the utmost degree.
