Older 110 needs work.

Does anyone know of someone that will work on an older 110 (2 pin)? The locking bar seems to be out of alignment in relation to the handles. There's some appears that there was some banging done on the locking bar. As a result, the blade has some vertical play in it.

Is there some reason not to send it to buck? If you ask nicely (and talk to Joe) you can probably convince them not to replace it, and just fix it up for you.

The thought crossed my mind about calling up Buck to see if they can do anything about the problem. I did receive a couple of customs recently from them. You said to speak to Joe, would that be Joe Houser? Isn't he the moderator of this forum? If so, I read that he was in the hospital but it looks like it wasn't that serious. Glad he out of the hospital, you can get stir crazy there.

I am sure Joe will look to see if he has any old parts gathering dust in a bin
and if he has not the parts to fix it, he will send the knife back with a new one...
