Older model Delica

Howdy. My first post here, and probably a dumb question... I have managed to lose my old faithful favorite and I actually much prefer the old molded synthetic pocket clip to the newer metal reversible ones. The original was much kinder to pocket.
Sooooo... about how long ago was the clip design changed, and do I have much of a prayer of locating a new original at this point? Looking for the half-serrated blade.

I'm sure there are many others here who can answer with greater certainty, but I believe the 1998 models had the new design. You won't find any that old on store shelves. The second-hand market is your place. There is an area here at bladeforums.com for buying/selling. You can also try eBay or a knife show. I know how you feel, I have a plain 1992 Delica that I wouldn't want to part with.

Check here. It looks like they are out of the combo edge but they may still be the old style, if you could live with plain or spyder edge.
