Gentelmen,

Both knives were in private collection, never used or carried, still in mint condition but with some edging marks. For were handled and plaied with :)

1. Pro-Venator.

One of the older versions, if you remember these were wrapped in foil at the Spyderco factory :)
Comes with the original box and Spyderco zipper pouch.
Made in Japan, VG-2 steel. Partially serrated.

Asking $ SOLD $, shipped USA.

Payment by PP, gift. I will ship by USPS Priority.

2. Civilian. Made in Japan, second generation with coating on the handle (?)

Fully serrated, great shape, only Spyderco zipper pouch, no box.
I think this is a second-generation, very interesting model.
Comes with a letter from Spyderco's CEO at that time - Sal Glesser. Cheesy but fun to have artifact :-)

Asking $250, shipped PP family and friends.

If you don't mind, why were they wrapped in foil at the factory? Cool knives!
I do not know! But do remember a few brand new Spyderco many, many years ago were wrapped in the foil! But I do not know the reason :-) That is a good question for the Spyderco forum.
