Hello gang. I have a little Schrade side opener (3.5" long) that I've been carrying around for years. It's about perfect for carrying and taking care of most of my cutting needs except for one thing. The blade steel (420?) just doesn't cut it (no pun). Is there anyone out there who can take a knife blade and reproduce it in a much better steel? I like this knife so much for carrying that I would gladly pay more than the knife is worth to have a blade made, for example in S30V, that wouldn't have to be sharpened weekly. It's used mostly for opening and reducing corrugated board boxes. Thanks. RE

I'm certain it is within the capabilities of several of the fine craftsmen here, but a picture would certainly help them get an idea of what the project will entail.
