Oldest/Newest Born-On Dates...

I just recieved the mail a Avalanche that I "won" on the bay with a uncoated blade and no "Born on Date". Yes I know the trick on opening 1/2 way. Anyway does this mean I finally have a knife with s60v or 440v? The blade just says Ken Onion and Kershaw 1570. The box looks to be from 2000. The torsion bar is also very weak compared to the s30v 2006 one that I have. Do you think being stored closed for 8 or so years could have made it weak or were the older ones just weak? The knife was NIB $58 shipped.
 
Yes, it's S60V(440V).
Couldn't hurt to contact Kershaw CS and try a new torsion bar.

Is this the oldest ET?
Kershaw ET (1900) 1 of 500 first production run. Nov. 05. Anyone out there with an older prototype ET?
 
It being 1 of 500, yes...it and 499 more. ;)
I'll bet Thomas has an E.T. pototype in his office.
 
i have a set of officer ranch kershaw sambar stag handle folders. don't know how old they are. bought them in the late 80's or early 90's.
