That's a very good looking piece. Everything comes together nicely.

How many layers are there in that damascus? Don't usually see it that fine. I like it, though I would've preferred something a little less random.

How's it feel in hand? It looks fast.

That Damascus is unique AFAIK. As I understand, it was formed from tiny little "leftover" bits drilled out from hundreds of Damascus billets from knives that Larry made over a period of many, many years. He kept all of those little leftover bits in a can over the years and then finally used them to make this knife in something like a mosaic technique . . . thus the Micro Damascus. At least that was the way I understood it. I understand that because of the nature of that Damascus, it was a real bitch to photograph. And as good as that picture is, I don't think it is possible to illustrate how the knife shimmers and shines as you change viewpoint angles. In the hand I think it is more reflective/shiny and less dark or black than it appears in the picture. And yes, it is light and quick.

That is just beautiful I love the carving on the ivory. Its always a treat to see Larry's work thank you

This is a wonderful standout piece

What ever micro Damascus is it looks like Wootz and I like it

Guard very nicely done

Congrats

That micro damascus is cool. Takes the idea of recycling to a whole new level.

Sounds like one of those things that has to be seen to be believed.

Can't take my eyes off the steel. Truly amazing.

That makes two of us. I know that it was only an hour ago when I said I would've preferred something less random, but I've already changed my mind. Every time I look at this knife my eyes can't help being drawn to the blade. It's mesmerizing.

That's a beauty. My favorite thing about it is the offset lines between the handle and the spine of the blade. Almost an anti-flow, that totally works. Congrats Ken.

Love it. One of my favorite Fuegen's of all time.
You did good Ken. Larry doesn't make a lot of Damascus knives and very few with blades over 7"-8" long.

Everything considered, I've always believed he's one of, if not the finest sheathmaker in the world. He hand stiches them. This is not
one of his more elaborate sheaths but beautiful and beautifully fitting for the Bowie as well.

And then there's his carving and engraving. How can one man be so talented.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

FANTASTIC KNIFE and SHEATH right down to the Frog Button.
The Guard and Spacer is an Eyecatcher, NICE DESIGN ELEMENT.
GREAT HANDLE and BLADE.
