OMG!! Bushwacker Battle Rattle

This will be the most exciting Busse release I have ever been a part of! The Battle Rattle will be a great knife.

I have come back to this picture about 15 times in the last 30 minutes....I am gonna turn off this laptop so I can go to bed, that is one sexy knife!!!!!

I think I like it because it is sort of Internal Affairish looking.............just my thought..

Wow. How true. With a nicer tip than the IA. Makes me not sad that I sold my ZTBM.

Woof. Just got up. Terrible night last night, couldn't sleep.

Can't think why.

Except ... I think I kept hearing the distant sound of something rattling, far off in the West.:eek:

I'm still wondering what the hell a Bushwacker Battle Rattle is, especially since the knife everyone keeps posting is called the Bushwacker Battle Mistress.

Did you see the first post here? That's what Jerry is calling it now.

There is sure to be a lot of the Ol' No'west Native Proxie Dance going on at Blade West this year. Keep an ear to the ground folks.;)

I saw that, but I didn't see any indication that he means the Bushwacker Mistress.

Not trying to be a D!@k. I'm just wondering if there's something I don't know.

Basically you're saying that while we're all patiently waiting for the mistress, you wouldn't be surprised if Jerry came out with an INFI baby rattle in the meantime, knowing we're all thinking mistress. :D I wouldn't be surprised at all

I hope this is not yet another knife that is LE only. A CG would be a stretch for many of us to afford, much less a satin version. Please say that CGs will released at the same time.

Yeah, money is especially tight for me these days - CG versions take a bit of the sting out. After the SAR4 being offered only in satin, I'm hoping the trend won't continue for the SAR8 and Bushwhacker.

Well, he posted that comment in the original Bushwacker Mistress thread, so I just assumed he was implying the name change.

I say it's time for the TB to come down and the BATTLE RATTLE to go on sale! I want my Skinny INFI!

It would be GREAT if it IS the knife he posted pics of, as that thing looks amazing, and Lycosa said he's gonna give me one if it's ever released, since I haven't been able to find a real chopper that works for me.

However, my little SofiBelle would love an INFI baby rattle as well now that she's 4 months old and able to grasp. :D :D :D

ETA: I know I'm a bit biased, but DAMN she's cute! :D ;)

Now that's what I call a deal! I guess I should start saying none of my choppers work for me :D

An anorexic Busse chopper is my holy grail knife. I would love to see a BM-E, or better yet, ZT BM, run, because I'm just not willing to pay the secondhand prices on those blades and I LOVE the blade shape on them. The Bushwhacker blade shape is, to me, completely inconsequential - it's the blade thickness that makes me drool.

I've watched several Busse family choppers get handily outchopped by thin, cheap knives - an anorexic INFI chopper would bite deep and be easy to resharpen, while resisting corrosion. It's a no-brainer in my eyes.

Next up: the anorexic zilla

Mustard...have you used your MoJo to chop? .20-.22 isn't anorexic, but it's nice and light compared to .25-.27.

I have used the mojo to chop, but it's not long enough to make a good anorexic chopper. The balance isn't near the end enough to make it chop well. Now, if I had the MoFo, with the saber grind, instead of the full flat grind on the mojo, I would imagine there would be more weight near the tip and it would chop better, while still being thin enough to bite pretty deep.

What I would REALLY like to see is a NMUM - nuclear meltdown uncle mojo. Push the blade out to three or four inches longer, keep it thin, and round everything off. THAT would be a mean brush clearer and chopper.
