You lightweights. How foolish to bid so high so early. All you are helping is Progunner. (Not that that is a bad thing, mind you.)

Hold your bid. Snipe if necessary. Bidding with 9+ days left is like being Dan Douquette. "Our team was in first place more days this year than the Yankees." That's great. But being high bidder today doesn't get you the knife in the end.

(And no, I'm not angling for hte blade - the balance looks off.)
 
You guys are killing me.... I just got the funds for my car resolved thanks to a fellow hog.. And now this !

I am running out of Busses to sell ....

Seriously though , If the price is well over 2000 I rather buy an original forged Pipe Hawk .. . I saw at least 3 of them at the Chicago blade show and they were very sweet... A peace pipe taht can chop down a tree is pretty awesome..
 
I think I'm going to buy it and give it to one of my drinking buddies that can keep up for at least two days.

Whoever buys it (and I am not even going to try) should make it a user and, of course, post pics. Heck, throw it!!!:thumbup:

I have been bugging Jerry for years to make a good using axe, but he doesn't seem interested. And I don't want to hear from you whiners that "Jerry should stick to what he does best, make fixed blade knives", I'm sure he could make an excellent folder and axe. At some point he will need to make new products, why not a folder and axe? :confused:

If he made a folder there would be so many new people in this forum hunting for Busses it would look like a Ganzaaa every day. :eek: :eek: :eek:

He already made an excellent AX, its on Ebay right now ...

I say bring the Busse folding-ax . best of both worlds !!! :D
 
Maybe Jerry does not think there is enough of a niche to warrant making an axe, or even an axe head. Certainly, there are other steels out there that might be fairly competitive in the impact arena, such as S7.
 
Linking to or pointing out active Ebay auctions is not allowed on BF so I'm going to lock this one down.

If someone on this forum wins the auction I'd love to see some new pics of it with the new owners current cache, however, there is no need to continue to advertise for Ebay. (sorry Progunner ;) )
