Seemed to be mostly smooth, with some small grind marks here n there, easily removed though. Some on the right side that still need a little loving, shouldnt take too long to remove.

Heres a better picture I took this morning.

Lookin' good. Now you have to do something about that butt...

Satin is hot and those grind marks...oh yeah. The spear point makes is more useful. All you need is some grooves on that little thumb ramp (before and after the peak...for the thumb or index finger if need be) and you'll have it.

Ok, you can see the differance in time with my first post until now pretty slow going but the things you can do with a polishing wheel and cold water!!

Oh ya sorry for the crappy picture, good camers battery was dead.:grumpy:

much better, IMO. cool job.

Personally, I really like the INFI Wharnie

The Ban stamp of approval means a lot to me. :)

I've no doubt.

Keep posting user pics!! Maybe we can get our Mr. Busse to get that 'Warnie fever.' And wouldn't that be great??

Absolutely... the Wharncliffe is a much maligned and misunderstood blade configuration.

Ok... enough of the thread hijack.. apologies to all. :D

Me no likey -- I'm in love with the original scrofas..... But to each his or her own! I just hate to see a good Busse modified from Jerry's original version. OK, just my 2-cents worth!

Have fun, though, it's your Busse.....

Hijack???? We are still talking about SS aren't we? :D

I too also love a wharnie type blade for a utility knife because it has a lot of tip precision which I find myself using most often for smaller cutting tasks. The only thing you can't really do well with a wharnie blade is skinning because of the lack of belly.

I've thought about this before...and... although skinning is very low on my list of tasks.. I reckon I could still skin a beasty with a Wharny.

To my mind...there are not many tasks a 4" Wharny cant achieve... (chopping aside)

Some folk just find em fugly... and that just makes em more attractive to me. :D
