This might sound silly,but what does Pt stand for?youre welcome. 12pt is 4" blade and 10pt is 3" on Bucks site, other sites show it as 3.25" blade. so think large and small blade basically.

Thanx everyone!!The 10pt is quite a bit smaller than the 12pt. Although only a one inch difference in blade length, the 12pt would be a much better fit for individuals with small hands. I bought both and gave the 10 to our eight year old daughter, perfect size for her.
