Me with my living hatpin. And lookin disturbingly scraggly I must say. If you can identify the dragonfly you get a prize.

I believe it is a Macromiidae or known as Macromia annulata,
Bronzed River Cruiser.

No prize for you Kelly. But that was a good guess. It's a little too small for a Macromia. The bug in question is a Harlequin Darner (Gomphaeschna furcillata). Cool little guys. You into odes?

me with me baby girl there a about 5 snakes in that pan next to her she's trying to talk me into letting her in on the action

my son cought his first snake i spent a good part of the summer teaching him how i only got bit twice showing him how not to do it
