On New Jersey

Whenever I am in NJ, I always feel like I am in East Germany. In my observation, the NJ state Police act like the old East German Border Police. Somebody should tell them that driving with an out of state license plate is not a crime.
 
Old New Jersey. I have always wondered about keeping my Gerber clipped to my pocket there. I was worried that a cop would say I had an "offensive weapon" so I wear it deep in the pocket.

I have had Izzy's take out, my wife is always getting their crab cakes and such. She has eaten there with friends, I've never been inside the place myself. There always seems to be a big crowd there so you know it's a good place to eat.

Izzy's is right up the street from me (like 2 min. away heheh). I am in the Lakes.

New Jersey is REALLY UNDERATED food wise. There is some of the best food in the country. I recommend a trip to the Ironbound section of Newark for Portugese food or the Ironwood section for Italian food. There is also great food down the shore sea food wise and some great places in Hoboken and Jersey City. Eat well!
