? on Parker Edwards Damascus survival knife

Has anyone ever tryed this knife? was wondering if it a good knife in the catagory of hollow handle survival knives. i picked this one up for $150 hope it was a good deal. any replys would be great

Really nice piece you got there. Parker Edwards is one name I haven't heard in an awfully long time. Though I can't quite answer your question, I do however recall browsing through a late 1980's Blade(? or was it SOF can't be sure) magazine article about an 'extream test' done on a full sized Parker Edwards bowie as a step-ladder. You have to imagine that test like these were not commonplace "advertisement" for knife strength back then. It would be sometime before it became vogue, thank's to Cold Steel. Hope this helps.
 
Anytime, partner! It's a neat piece of '80 style Americana made with genuine good old fashion 100% American labour and pride. Hard to find one of those at the price you paid :-) 'John Rambo' would be so proud!
