On Patrol

I've been wanting to do this thread for awhile now. After conversing with 91bravo 91bravo I got motivated to take my Patrol for a stroll. I'm putting the Patrol in its element which is clearing trails, fast and efficient plus some harder work if needed. I'm tackling a mess of briars brambles and some soft wood trees with an occasional hard wood branch thrown in. Yes there is a fence line I'm trying to blaze to. It's about 15 yards in and down. Stopping to take pictures it took me about 15 minutes. And yes trees and vines were injured in the making of this post. Enjoy.

Cool beans. Looks like she bites deep.

The Patrol Machete was going to be re-introduced, but it never happened. Can't remember why anymore.

I could be really wrong, but I seem to recall reading an Uncle E article in which he stated that both the PM and Brute wouldn’t be reissued because he felt that other Beckers (maybe the 20 and the 9) performed better.

I would dread the thought of swinging either on of those thru those vines today. Speed and leverage cuts free swinging vegetation. 35 years in the Florida Swamps learned me a lot:D
 
My most wanted big blade right now is the 20, I’d happily take a reissued patrol machete instead.

Actually, give me a new niner in super steel too! :thumbsup:
 
20's most plentiful on da Island, maybe da place for a few 6's also
