I actually got to hold the kabar prototype at Ethan's place. I much prefer the Camillus. They didn't thin the blade out at all. The saber grind they put on it added so much metal. I swear it weighs more than the bk21, and the balance was not there. I would be all in for a kabar version if they thinned it out to make it more like a real machete. At one time I contemplated getting a custom made 1075 3/32" version from LT Wright sadly the price quote almost gave me a heart attack.

there are some BAD ass machetes out there though, since KaBar doesn't want our money, let's up vote a good one...
Frankly, if i had the $$$, i'd probably buy a Keffler Super Assassin and be done with it.

On a serious note, the Keffeler Super Assassin looks more like a samurai sword than a machete. I have seen the demos for that thing though, wow.

Love the PM, The P38 is my favorite Airplane,and the Mustang is also at the top of my list. Glenn Miller is my Favorite WW2 Big band.It's a cool blade. I had one (once). Didn't really get to use it. I'ld vote for a rerun of the PM.
