It was gruesome. I couldn't stop watching because I couldn't believe how often the bad luck fell on the Niners, or how often they decided to make their own bad luck by compounding it with unforced errors. That drive where the best offensive player for the Ravens was 49ers safety Tashaun Gipson? Unbelievable.Well, the Niners really got their butts kicked by the Ravens. Oh well . . .![]()

Unfortunately, with all the injuries Monday, I could see them dropping two more, which was unthinkable last week.I stopped watching that mess when the score was 30-12 in the 3rd Q.
Down 18 points & needing 2 TDs just to get close was too big a gap to close, given how poorly the Niners were playing up to that point.
I kept tabs on the game via ESPN Gamecast on my phone while I was cooking/eating in the kitchen & only went back to watch when Purdy was reportedly hurt & left the game & it looked like they might score another to make the score respectable but Darnold gave up yet another (the 5th) INT.
The Niners are guaranteed a playoff spot even if they lose their last 2 games but likely will drop to the 5th or 6th seed if they do and, if they do that, I don't hold out hope for them advancing very far. Oh well . . .![]()
