I had at least seven possibles after two guesses in three different letter combination patterns from the yellow/green letters I already had. Eliminated a whopping four that had been used before and then picked the most common word from the remaining three (one was a fairly uncommon alternate spelling of another word and the second was a fairly technical word for a piece of equipment in an outdoor sport that I thought unlikely).
