Yeeeeeeeeesh. After two there were uncountable words left and after five guesses I still had two possible choices, but one was slightly more technical in a way with which I didn't think a NYT editor would be familiar. Really only eliminating past Wordles made this one possible at all, that cut out more than a dozen words.

Par 6 -- Failure rate: 24.2%!!!!

If that stays valid, this would be the third hardest Wordle by number of players failing, after PARER and FOYER and just ahead of CATCH and WATCH, based on 2022 data (of unknown provenance). Adding 2023 drops it to fourth after RIPER.
