The bots used to be available with a news subscription, but now you also have to pay for games. Bummer.

Just be thankful that the NYT is still letting people play Wordle for free & only requiring a subscription to use WordleBot, which I get for free via a 3 day (at a time) library subscription.

Even if they put Wordle completely behind a paywall, I'll still be able to play Wordle & use WordleBot as long as I can still get a free 3 day (at a time) subscription to the NYT via my library but, the day they cut that off, I'll just have to stop playing Wordle.

Hopefully, that day won't come, at least not until all of the 5 letters words are used up & they have to change or start the game over again.
