I'm currently in Pisa in Italy on semester and does any one know if there are any shops or places where they sell sell knives here?

Has anyone orderd spyderco knives from ebay? I'm think about buying a spyderco tenecious but they are so expensive in Sweden so I looking on ebay and it was much cheaper. Should I get it?

Sorry for any spelling or grammatical errors this was wroten on my Ipad and I'm not a very good english speaker/writer. Sorry if this is in the wrong subforum.

First off, welcome to the forums! (haven't gotten to be the first person to say that to anyone yet ;) )

Not a bad place to ask for at least some of the stuff honestly.

Spyderco is one of the many brands I would not recomend buying off of eBay, personally, but the Tenacious is a bit of an exception. For just about any other Spyderco model, there are a bunch or rip-offs and fakes that will commonly pop up, but I have never heard of a Tenacious clone before, and I honestly doubt there would really be one, considering that it is already a pretty cheap, Chinese-made knife.

If you can find a seller that is in your area, then I would say go for it, but make sure if you are buying from someone from another country to make sure they aren't going to charge you extra for international shipping. I have seen that happen several times before.

If you get any more expensive Spydercos, then you might want to start looking to find some other retailers online, or maybe through some other outlet, because you will start running into that issue with clones, fakes, and counterfeits pretty quickly.

Good luck finding it though man, and I hope you are enjoying Italy!

Welcome to Bladeforums!

I moved this to FEEDBACK, better for asking about dealers.
We've got members in Italy, so stay around. I'm sure they can help.

Your English isn't bad at all.

Pisa what a beautiful city.
Love the markets and architecture.

I wouldn't buy a knife there but if you really have to, make sure that the blade is centered. You will know what I mean when you look at their tower.

Isn't the tower straight but the ground is slanted? :D

My father was in Pisa during the Second "World War and brought back a souvenir Tower -- in white marble, with all the details.

That's a new one that way I guess all blades are centered too and only the handles are misaligned at times. :D
White marble, nice. Carrara where they get marble in that area looks like the mountain tips are covered in snow. When you get closer it turns out these are huge open marble quarries.

Italy has had an astonishing succession of different civilizations, each of which blended into its successor. So much still waiting to be found and understood.

For sure. Can't wait to go there again sometime and show this wonderful country to my kids.
