Well, nice shiny new sub-forum, might as well drop some pictures in here. This thread will have updates of what I have going on in the shop, what is on the bench, and what is being finished up.

Currently on the bench:
5 x Drop Point hunters in S90V
4 x Drop Point hunters in CPM M4
2 x skinners/hunters in S90V (need a name formerly known as Boot Skinner.)
1 x Utility K-bit in S90V
and an EDC Sheepsfoot prototype also in S90V.

Sent off a batch to Peters' today...time to work on some that have been sitting and waiting for attention...like this Wharncliffe in M398. 2 will be in M398. One in S110V...with a special handle.

This one has a long and interesting back story. I was stationed in Japan back in the late 90's and that was when I started making knives...or, more accurately, knife like objects. This one was the only "traditional" Japanese style tanto I tried at the time. It was cut out of plate D2 bought from the Tokyu Hands store with a hacksaw, and hand filed to shape, the bevels were not even and overly convexed. I sent it to Rob Simonich for heat treat in 1998/99. Got it back and realized I was a bit over my head, so it went in a box with some other materials.

Recently I found the box in a Pelican case. Now, 27ish years later, I have decided to finish it. Primary grinds are done, bevels are (mostly) polished and the habaki is shaped/soldered. Still a long way to go.

The grind doesn't stop. Waiting on the last batch of blades to come back from HT, working on a batch of S90V. New design, Humpback skinners, a couple "Zippers" and a few Fat Fingers (as opposed to the slimmer version "Little Finger"). Also, a one-off hunter that will get my first ever antler handle slabs. All rough ground and tangs tapered.
