Here's what I've got sitting on the bench right now.

The first two to be done are to complete an order of 3 (the smaller of the taped up blades). They are CPM154 and, along with the larger blade, will be heat treated when I can refill my liquid nitrogen dewar.

The larger taped blade with the handle layout is the military appreciation giveaway knife I'm building that David at GLWJ set up. It's a full flat grind ATS34. You can check out some of the builds on David's board

After that I've got a small EDC for myself (CPM154) and a knife Paul (Big Smitty) sent me as a thanks for heat treating his kitchen knives (THANKS Paul!!) It's 1095, and it was cut out by David at GLWJ. I'm looking forward to finishing it out for myself with a clay quench. After that, one more EDC that hasn't had its bevel ground yet.

Good-lookin' stuff, Nathan. If I showed a pic of my bench, you'd all disown me. :o You can barely tell there's a bench under all that stuff... maybe I should quit stocking up on expensive steel and exotic wood and invest in some shelving... :D

I only have one on my bench right now. Its a forged W1 recurve fighter with afile worked copper and brass framed tang. The blade has a very strange hamon... it looks like a landscape including a black sun.:cool::D trying to decide between spalted birch or curly maple scales, guard will be stacked copper bone copper.

Maybe you should make a shelf out of exotic wood and expensive steel :p

Nice looking bunch Nathan! I just hollow ground 8 of those knives like I sent you and they are at Peters getting heat treated with 12 other 1095 blades. By the way, those kitchen knives finished up great. The one I gave to the chef is already in use and he loves it and I have used the other one and they both sharpened up real good and are holding an edge great!

Paul, I'm glad to hear it! You did a great job grinding 'em out. I'm probably going to flat grind the little blank you gave me and see if I can get a hamon to show. I'm excited about it to be sure!
