Can't wait to get on the road again.
Just bought a new camper for my pickup. The top collapses down into the body so the bed only sticks up 8 inches over the cab.

Spent a couple hours yesterday getting my cell phone to work with my laptop computer, so now I am completely mobile and can call home and send pictures back to my wife. Of course it would be much better if we both could go, but she has to work and her job, and her pending retirement is what this is all about.

The object is to search for land for our retirement home somewhere on the western coast of the Olympic Peninsula. Last month I flew up, but really didn't have enough time to do a good search.

We should have done all this years ago, but hopefully we will still have some time left to realize our dream.

The W side of the Olympic? You'd better have all your tools in SS or have a lot of oil around.

The North side is dry, the east not as wet as Seatle, but the West? Yuck.

I've never seen so many spiders and spider webs. And the moisture? Ahhhh.

each to his own, though. I'd prefer the Mojave desert, but Id never talk my wife into that.

Good luck in your search.

Ben?

Good luck.

Getcherself a standard poodle and a copy of Steinbeck's Travels with Charley and go rediscover today's America. Time for an update, I think.

Sounds like a neat idea.

Have fun.

The main thing is Ben's got a dream and is chasing it. Too many do not.

Speaking of which, I'll see you in SW KY tomorrow! :)
