Once Great Knife company that slid downhill bad

I'm 0 for 3 on the knives I've bought from them, they were all very poorly made. The 2 or 3 I've seen that other people own were not much better. I think Imacasa is almost universally known for average to below average output. That's not to say they don't occasionally make something good; even the blind squirrel gets a nut every once in awhile. :p

I can see maybe some bushcrafter wanting a fancier machete, but as an inexpensive bare bones working man's tool I've heard no complaints and certainly have none.
 
Seems like the same thing that's happened to many companies in many industries. They sink and someone buys them up for the name, and it's all downhill from there.

Or vice versa, they buy them for the name and extract as much cash as quick as possible while they sink it...
