One Arm Bandit

Three of my peeves is a one arm razor with 1. two blades, 2. A half stop 3. Nail nick. I have not been able to find one that checks all the boxes yet.

And I hope this isn't taken as detracting from the beautiful examples shown, I have lust in my heart for some of those even with two blades or nail nicks.

Cheers,

Sorry this one doesn't check all your boxes, but it was dedicated for my Father-in-Law!! Bill made these for me in 2014!!

Stew gave his arm (and some of the use of his leg) for the world's freedom, when he was blown up after parachuting into France!! He was Canadian infantry, seconded to UK paratroops!!! R.I.P!
He also gave me the present of his beautiful daughter!!

That’s a beauty. The blade hook shape is spot on IMO. Is Stew’s Blade etched on the blade Charlie? Would like to see this one open.
Bill said he field tested the hook, before general production!!! It works well!
The picture "Stew's Blade"shown is the exact etch!!
(That is no longer my knife!!)

Is there a dedicated appreciation thread for the glorious One Arm Bandit? If not I’d like to add one to get this thread started.

Completed this knife today. Gotta say I really loved making this one.

I like everything about this knife David. A beautiful piece of work. Wish I could be at the blade west show.

Seeing that Stews Blade open is sweet. Thanks for showing that one Augie Augie and the others are awesome too. The saw cut bone on those are something I’d love to create at some point.

I have a soft spot for the Bulldog brand knives. Love their blade etching. I know it’s not super popular on customs but I’d love to come up with something cool like these old blades. The ones Rhidian Rhidian has done on previous knives for Charlie have been so classy.
