One blade in my pocket...

Not me, the only things that get their own pocket are my wallet and phone. My wallet goes in the back right, anything else in there with it just feels awkward. Phone goes in the front left, and nothing else goes in there so I don't scratch anything (don't like cases or screen protectors), also my current phone is a Samsung Galaxy Note 2, which I'm sure many of you know is a monstrosity of a smart phone with a 5.5" screen so honestly nothing else fits in that pocket. My main knife is always clipped to my front right pocket with all of my other crap (keys, lighter, flashlight, change, etc) at the bottom of the pocket. Depending on which flashlight I'm carrying and which pants I'm wearing my flashlight will sometimes be clipped to my back left pocket alone. So really, I guess my knife is generally the only part of my daily gear that DOESNT get its own pocket...lol.

Ha ha! Love that note 2. Almost same config as you except broccoli rubber band wallet in front pocket.

I love everytime I pull the phone out women remark - wow its so big! To which I reply, Why thank you!

Been this way since I first started to carry a knife many, many, maaaaany years ago. I carry my large, pocket clipped knife in my right front pocket all by it's lonesome. I carry a smaller slipjoint in my left front, along with pocket change. At the present though, due to being wheelchair bound, I carry the slipjoint and change in my fannypack.

I think only one other person has said this, but I can basically not carry anything else in my front right pocket along with my knife. I cannot stick my hand all the way down into the pocket. Granted I do carry a thicker folder usually, but its still a tight fit even if I'm carrying a Sebenza. I usually always wear jeans that fit, not tight but not really loose. I do occasionally drop coins into the bottom, but I will have to remove my knife and usually set it on the gas station counter before I am able to retrieve them.

I don't carry them with my keys, my keys get clipped to a belt loop - that's how it's always been even before the knives.

However, they do get carried with my pen, flashlight, lighter, etc.

My Sebenza has all kinds of marks on the handles and I love them.
I always clip my knives to my pockets so they don't move around a lot.

But I don't really care if the knives I carry get marks on them. I like it better that way. I use them and enjoy the marks they pick up over time.

I do the same. Right front pocket is my dedicated knife pocket. Not really to keep my knives from getting scratched (its bound to happen and I don't mind surface marks) but its just annoying to try to reach past your knife to get whatever is floating around your pocket.

Absolutely! Front right pocket is knife only. Originally, it was to keep stuff (change, etc) from getting stuck between the blade and liner but now it is just as much to keep the handle from being damaged (I often carry ivory)

My response is usually "yeah, it's big, but it's not just the size that's impressive...it's all the crazy stuff I can do with it...;)"
