Just found one of my Tactical Orange Peelers for sale from a few years ago and bought it back from the owner. Unfortunately he lost my sheath, but still, I was happy to have one of my own knives back, especially considering I only have a few. Ever get one back you were glad about and decided to keep?

That one recently came back to me.

I found these sitting in a local pawn shop 8 or 9 years after I made em and was happy to grab em up!!!
Don't think I'll ever let em go again!!

Chiro and Michael inthe same thread. Seems like old home week (BOG)

I know what you mean. I had to do a double take on their posting dates. Why dont you two visit more often? Miss Ya.

BTW those are serious cool knives gentlemen.

I got one back from a Canadian customer of mine. HE sent it back as a suprise and told me to list it for sale and use the funds to buy my new baby girl something. GREAT GESTURE!!

Actually, I was lucky in that he bought his last custom (so he says) and he chose one of mine:)

This pw bird&trout wasn't sold but has a tremendous sentimental value for me. About 5 yrs ago when my son-in-law was preparing to deploy to Iraq, he helped me weld up a simple billet and I made 2 small b&t from it. One he took to the Sandbox. I carried mine daily.
Last winter I was on an anvil gathering expedition and dropped it from the front of my bibs. Didn't miss it til I was 80 miles away. The next day brought 8 inches of snow and it stayed that way till March. Never got back up for it. Fella that works for my brother was up there and found it last May, none the worse for wear, save a bit of rust and a small crack in the wild cherry handle.
Made my day (BOG)

Oh ya, I come home that day with a 275# Fisher in great shape but it didn't lessen the loss of that blade.

Sweany, that isn't the exact knife, but same model. That one you linked to went to England. I will get some new pics up soon. Koa scales, though, too. It's just nice to actually have one of my own finished knives, especially since I don't make them anymore.

Yep, there's one or two I'd ike to see again.

I got a couple back from Dad, when he passed.
