If you know of anyone interested in taking a one day bladesmith class. Pass this information on to them.

I will be teaching a class at the Tryon Arts and Crafts School located in Tryon NC on November 23rd from 8:00 to 5:00. The fee is $155 paid to the school and $25 for materials. Class is limited to 5 students, and students are accepted on a first paid basis.

This is a hands-on class that will introduce student in the art of bladesmithing. Starting with a bar of steel, students will learn the basics of how to forge a blade to shape, refine the shape by filing and sanding, heat treat and temper the blade, make a handle, and finish the blade and handle. Students will create one knife to take home at the end of the day.

For information on how to register contact the school at 828-859-8323. Tryon in located in western North Carolina, off interstate 26, near the South Carolina border.

Sigh, if only i still lived in NC! Oh well! If you ever decide to teach a class in N. California let me know!

Should be a good class, I enjoyed the WIP of your keyhole knife awhile back on here.
You guys don't miss out on this opportunity. I handled Kens knives at a custom knife show a few weeks ago. NICE.
