Not trainers' JB, Buck did a 110 LE with that blade and elk scales. Might have been for Sierra Trading Post, at least that's where I purchased mine. I'll post a picture unless someone(Dave:rolleyes:) beats me to it. Preston

This knife was obviously designed for spreading peanut butter and/or cream cheese.

stainless frame and bolsters factory auto?
ah ha JBm do worry much , bucksway has an advantage in that most every thing I get he always gets a e-vual or even a preview of what I gets ... he knows all about that knife
it is a prototype auto with a al-u-men-em frame that is light and effective I was shocked at how light it is
it will likely never make as production issue ...
btw I cants tell you ex-that-ly who I gots its from, many of these things i can but some i can not
i do know a number of former and current great folks that work(ed) at Buck
Buck has always cared enught that they allows employes to get knives that we can not ...
some times a employee may need a few extrat FRN(federal re-serve notes) for some reason and will let them go to some one that loves what they have more them they do....;):D

now that is one great auto. wow aluminum. talk about a great carry and user. thank you Sir for the info on it.

I really hope we see that configuration from Buck. .as it seems to be THE perfect auto 110. Since the MSRP of the automatic is fairly high and they fly out of the factory at that price level I think we will see many versions of it down the road . I hope one day we will see a 112 factory auto but since the 110 sells in many multiples of the 112 it might be a very, very long wait. Bro I think your aluminum prototype is the rarest 110 of them all. .
