One for the machax historians.

big yeah :D

kinda sad about all the "weird shit" sold for monies that isn't necessarily authentic.

there's probably still a lot out there...

Yes its sad, and I'm sorry Ethan did not get compensated fairly. but at the same time I'm still just happy I found this blade.

Its become quite rare when a "real" machax comes up on the market. All the mods are hoarders!

classic machax... parkerized. but 3/8 thick. possibly a bit longer, but not much.

square spine - none of that thinning nonsense, unless you want a distill taper in the handle.

it's not a machete. it's a choppah.

"get to the choppah"

Stop talking about it and get a custom made!

haven't bought anything of that sort in a decade or so. just happened upon most of them, fairly cheap, so...

all special flowers, as nice backups, since they shall never make those again, likely...

but it's not hoarding. else i'd have 50 of everything...

mmmmm 50 machax sounds nice.

Any idea how many were made of the real Cincin machax before blackjack started in 91.

and when did he officially start making them? 1985?

I'm sure there were a lot of strange items coming out of the old Blackjack shop after the bank took over. I have seen some parts knives that were built up from whatever parts were lying around. Apparently the bankruptcy court did anything and everything to liquidate on hand assets. This could have been one that was a practice piece to mark up before sale.

I bet Bill is right on this one. They even practiced stamping it!

It does make sense. I would much rather believe that the bank is responsible for this rather than someone else marking them up all these years later for profit.
