From what I understand, the XM-05 serrated, is a prototype model for the SEAL2001. Is there a difference or a change of design that will be made for the SEAL2001? Or is it simply a matter of being like the BT with serrations = SEAL2000? Thanks for your time.

Hey,
The SEAL2001 is different from the SEAL2000 in the following aspects;
1. Overall length on the SEAL2001 is apx 1.5" longer.
2. Overall width is apx. .1875 wider.
3. Tip geometry is completely different than SEAL2000.
4. Both have the same serration design.
5. Blade dimesions of a BT and a SEAL2000 are the same with the exception of the serrations on the spine of the SEAL2000.
6. All the above are the dimensional, in addition to these, the differences when held are even more significant.
Hopefully this helps.
