You just catch the front of blade on your pants or boot heel and pull the knife open. (One handed)

One of my customers made a video showing how they work, but I can't find it right now. (Maybe someone will post it?)

The cutting edge? - is just a little under 3''

Good Score, I think You will like Your new folder a lot.
I have a T.A. Davison folder with Blue and Silver Twill scales, it is one of my absolute favorites.
CLASSY KNIFE.
 
My new knife arrived today. It is my second Davison and my new favorite. The blue twill is great and I'm practicing my one handed opening!
