Besides the LM Wave, are there any other multi-tools that have a blade that can be opened with one hand? What is the quality like of other tools with this feature? Thanks.

Richard

The Gerber Legend does, knife blade has a thumbstud, I have one and like it though it´s a bit smaller and feels weaker than my Leatherman, Swisstool or other Gerbers, my brother bought one and broke it but liked it so much that he got another one.

Hi Richard have a look at the Leatherman Charge http://www.leathermancharge.com/charge.html its similar to the wave but has titanium handles and a 154cm blade . ive had one for about a month now and it is superb that 154 blade has left my forearms without any hair :) .Theres two choices the TI and the XTI .Have a look at the link and see which one would best suit you . As far as i know this is the best one handed opening multitool there is .

Victorinox makes some nice liner-lock thumb hole knives. A friend of mine got one for christmas. I cant find it on their site, but it has the same body as the "Pocket Tools" line on their website

Called the one-hand trekker OR one-hand trailmaster.
They also have a fireman model and 1 or 2 others (parachutist etc).

The trailmaster has been spotted at Target stores.

LM Wave and charge are other choices.

The Kershaw tool also (I think) has this feature, but is a bulky tool.
